Ghiyath al-din Abul-Fath Umar ibn Ibrahim Al-Nishaburi al-Khayyami was born in May, between 1044 and 1048 in the town of Nishabur , in the province of Khorasan, located north-east of today’s Iran. Khayyam was a Mathematician , a Physician, an Astronomer, and a Philosopher who has influenced the world of Science in an enormous way.
